TUFT is a fully automatic machine to produce brushes with flat wire.The flat wire is picked up from the spool, cut and a multi-station carousel performs the following operations:
- flat wire is fixed in a steel strip (fed by spool) and pressed
- steel strip is pressed to shape the brush
- flat wire is cut perpendicularly or at an angle up to 30°
- finished brush is then ejected
The machine can also be fed with plastic fibers. The operator is only required for loading and unloading materials.
